Just thinking about it... For every person they wish to arrest they need to get a warrant and issue it. For millions or hundreds of thousands of people? I wonder if they have the man power and system to back this up.

Which is the whole point of passive resistance if everyone does it the system will fail

I'd love to know how many people really are resisting though? Or are just not buying a tag and paying rather?

Those of you who are refusing to pay at all - what is your plan when they come to arrest you?

I have a checkers packet full of 10c coins in bank bags... will pay them with that and only if they get heavy with me.
I opened a file at my attorney's office for this, just in case they do try and lock me up or get heavy with me.

Lots of people are cowards yes, unlike myself.
Kom SANRAL.. Papa wag vir jou om vir jou 'n PK te gee

I assume you're not going to pay and are going to use the highways (Or already are)

Yup. Long queues at the E-toll shop in Centurion yesterday.

Don't read too much into it. According to Twitter, the systems were slow and lots of people were there to dispute the 'charges' Not all of them were there to buy etags.

Ok, so I am completely clueless about the whole e-Toll thing (my passive resistance has been to simply ignore the issue), but I drove on the highways a few times over December and haven't received any kind of bill or statement from SANRAL. I'm ok with paying (the manual way) but I am concerned that I have not received anything and if this carries on I may be surprised with a massive bill at some point in the future.

How do I check if I have outstanding toll fees?

For real? I have to physically go to a booth to find this out? Where are these booths?

If you register and accept their BS Ts and Cs then u can check online. Else you need to physically go there
