Rained some in Randburg earlier this afternoon. Thunder and lightning, all very frightening, and maybe some more later.
 
I think some lightning just fried a couple of trees down the road from my house o_O

Can thunder echo without mountains :unsure: :eek: The flash and bang came out of the blue I damn near fell off my seat

No rain, and not even a breath of wind around Bryanston at the moment

However, looking at the Radar we may get a few very isolated storms passing through during the course of the night, Marikana is currently getting nailed by a storm with VERY strong returns...
 
Was monitoring a storm that was over Botswana this morning. It moved all the way into GP and appeared to just keep going.
Very light rain here in Die Wilgers, no noise, just a fine mist rain.

In Bryanston as well. Serious flash with short delay then a massive bang. Got a huge fright haha
 
Gees yesterday was an anti climax in Norwood. Lots of wind, cloud, thunder most the day for very little return. Meh....
