My girlfriend gets all weird when ever I say something that she does not like or when she "wip haar gat vir ***".

Now i am learning her the hard way i wont stand for such childish stuff by being more childish hehe to a real extend. Is this wrong of me?? hehehe i got to say i enjoy it a bit hehehe but it looks like she is starting to get the picture
 
Dude, don't take any manipulating crap. Seriously, I did, and it cost me in the end.
There's a difference though if "she going weird" has merits, but if it's just pure "simpel hardegat" and manipulating.... Stand your ground and don't take that crap!

i think the OP posting in afrikaans will make what he is saying clearer
its because of the "learning" that should be "teaching" that makes it difficult to see wtf
 
Well, with a name like 'appels' I'm sure he gets what he deserves.

Excuse my English but let me explain again:

my girlfriend gets upset about really stupid thing and then gives me the silent treatment and she is doing it more regularly in the last few months. when she gives me the silent treatment its only for an hour. but this is getting really annoying. (just to clarify she never did this before and maybe she just wants attention?)

So what do i do: i then also give here the silent treatment but for the entire day. its better than getting into a fight with her because very time we fight she ends up in tears. i have told her " ek is nie jou ma wat vir jou skrik as jy jou wip nie".

Sorry for the teaching//learning error hehe:p
 
Time for you to get a new girlfriend. If simple sh#t like this already happens then I doubt there is a future for your relationship. How will you get through the big stuff together? Communication is key mate.
 
It's never a good idea to adopt the equivalent retaliation strategy in a relationship. What what usually happens is an escalation in responses, and before you know it you hate each other.
