Apple officially unleashed the iMessage App Store earlier this evening ahead of iOS 10’s rollout to the public tomorrow. A variety of long-time popular iOS apps have new iMessage apps and extensions. We covered the new iMessage app from lyric annotation service Genius already, but now that the iMessage App Store is live, a variety of new of apps and extensions from popular developers. In most cases, iMessage apps and exertions come as updates to the developer’s existing iOS app. In a few instances, however, there are apps that are independent of the full iOS app, such as with The Weather Channel.

You can access the iMessage App Store by going into Messages, heading into an iMessage thread and tapping the App Store icon next to the compose button. Then, tap the four dots in the lower left corner and choose the “Store” option.

In the Messages App Store, you can choose the “Manage” tab to take control of what apps are presented in iMessage threads. If you choose the “Automatically Add Apps” option, all apps that you already have on your device that have accompanying iMessage apps will be added to your app drawer. This is similar to how app syncing is handled between iPhone and Apple Watch.

Is iOS 10 going to be stable enough to download tonight and should I expect it to make my 6S plus lag?

I don't have many apps on my phone, but luckily all of them were still working after installing iOS 10, I will update them in any case though.
 
Whats best to stay on the "developer" GM I'm on now or get the update released tonight?
I'm guessing if I stay on the one I'm on it just means ill get future updates before public releases do?

Can anyone here access the iMessage app store? Mine just says loading...
