The iOS 10 Thread/Discussion

Did that make sense to you when you re-read what you had typed before hitting the "post" key?
It does make sense. I do use iphone 4 and I see Apple is removing iphone 4 compatible applications from Store and also remove application (which were not removed yet) from the search engine. Heil Hitler!

I was referring to the strange, almost Yoda-like structure of your sentence.

But to be blunt, no one cares about what does or doesn't happen with a seven year old antique phone.

The apps you have won't stop working tomorrow.

It doesn't seem true. At times you need reset phone and re-download apps. 50+ thousands removed apps, it can hurt.

Backup to iTunes and all your apps can be safely stored on the PC just in case you need to re-install again.

Or consider getting a cutting edge, on the cusp of technology update like an iPhone 5s...

I've seen much better battery life on 10.3.3 beta

Thank the Pope.

Thanks for advice, but it is somehow unethical. You paid for apps and now all are removed from the store. Right or wrong? If you don't fu#$k Apple you will end up like this member:
I did a bit of cleaning up and discovered my old iPhone 3G. Running iOS 4.2 [...]

And no, I can't download apps. And for some reason it doesn't work on my Wifi.

How has he been f##ked? I've just pulled out an old Nokia n900, guess what? App Store is gone. At least you can download and retain any app you want to, it's not a difficult process.

You are failing to realise that in mobile phone terms you are complaining that your dinosaur is dead...

There is no need to be agressive. App store is gone for Nokia, as Microsoft killed Nokia, so it is why Nokia is not anymore.

Coming back to the subject. Apple should at least issue a warning for the users, so people could download missing applications. Remember, not everybody is using iTunes. Instead they started to delete apps without warning claiming these apps are misbehaving. 50+ thousands apps. People paid money to the Apple for these apps and they can't install apps directly from developers Website, as Apple did not allow it, only from AppStore. In this way Apple becomes legally viable for money refunds, not to mention a tarnished business image.

I think Apple will be facing class action soon for removing apps. It is a black collar crime.

How so? Surely developers have it in the T&Cs that their apps are tied to various OSs, and when the provider makes a shift, they either update or their apps cannot run on the new OS?

Does anyone not see the irony here..lol iOS 11 was announced yesterday; thread activity there is rather poor. Meanwhile the iOS 10 thread gets some action.

Show me where I said a single word about developers?
I am saying about customers who paid real money for these apps.
