The Arden AJ 23 RS is an even more hardcore hardcore Jaaaaag

A German tuning company has given an old British car a lot of power and minimal wheelarch clearance. Welcome to the Arden AJ 23 RS: an even more hardcore version of a fairly hardcore car.

That car being the old Jaguar F-Type. Are we allowed to talk about the old Jaguar F-Type? Feels a touch seditious to look upon the Jag’s delightful lines when all talk is focused – rightly so – on the future and the incredible Type 00.

But that Type 00 exists because despite everyone loving the old F-Type, not enough people bought one. So here we are. This one’s naturally packing a lot more power from its supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine courtesy of some new software.

Arden has also modified the supercharger drive for more boost pressure, and bolted on a special 'valved' exhaust system. Considering the regular F-Type V8 sounds incredibly naughty, one can only imagine what noise this summons from the deep.
