Yeah, was thinking about this myself, it's not like you can just put it in a cupboard and hope the moths don't get it. They probably have a few dudes on permanent staff whose are responsible for caring for all that stuff.

There's been a few documentaries about the royal palaces and the Tower of London on tv that have shown it's a small army of people doing the caring for/renovation of the old stuff.
