The NX 2.0t models also changed from being NX200t to NX300 from 2018 which is why you will also see both model names

It is the 200t (2L turbo) motor but this is the overlap in 2016 so maybe WBC's got their naming off slightly as the this engine replaced the N/A V6 (the 300).

maybe I am misunderstanding but I meant from a professional view.

the advert should tie up to the logbook, whether it is a 200t or 300

The logbook does not go that granular. It will be listed as Lexus as Make and IS as series name

I have a GS and both fields for make and series name are listed as LEXUS and LEXUS.
