The Lion Diet?

The lions will have to go chicken-less if that other thread is to be believed

Just more of the same carnivore diet(s)?

Did this for 2 months( not easy)
Meat and water- I did lamb instead of beef.

Did wonders for my weight, cognitive ability, mental health, insulin levels, lowered my cholesterol(rather say balanced)

But its not easy to keep up.. as soon as you taste suger(chocolate, carbs) the cravings hit you hard.

This is my "diet", tried and tested.

Exercise and sleep are critical for this to work, which will naturally address the volume of food

My split from top to bottom is as follows:

5%
10%
30%
35%
20%

Allegedly that pyramid is made up bs according to the guy in the video.

80% of what I eat consists of red-meat. The rest is animal-fat based products (cheese/butter/etc) and, primarily, green veggies.

Fruits for snacking, as little bread/wheat/etc and sugar as possible. I only try to consume Avo/Coconut/Olive oils.

It has been by far the most significant improvement I've had since following this animal fat & protein based diet.

Eating carbs and sugars now makes me feel kak and lethargic, so I buy the most expensive ice-cream/chocolate/etc I can, so it's worth it!

I take a multivitamin daily, together with a K2-Cal supplement at night.

How old are you ?

I did carnivore for about 3 months. I'd say "Dirty Carnivore". Still drank coffee, still had carbs on the odd occasion when visiting family or going out. Lion diet is a tad extreme for me, if I were a bachelor I could probably pull that off.

Lost about 10kg's even on dirty carnivore though. Started to feel much better energy wise. Only felt bad the day after I had some carbs. Sometimes really bad, like it actually physically hurt if that makes sense - like a hangover. Also once I had a work function while on carnivore, and ate pizza with everyone resulting in cold sweat and a trip to the bathroom in case I was going to be sick - fortunately didn't.

Curiously I had a cholesterol test while on carnivore when signing a new policy, it came back normal. Kept getting told carnivore would make my cholesterol skyrocket?

Anyway, now that I'm back on a "normal" diet, fatigue and brain fog has started to set in again. I feel more bloated all the time. And when my little one cries at 2am it definitely feels much more difficult waking up to go check.

My wife, on the other hand, didn't seem to realize much improvement on carnivore. Seems to be doing better on "normal" diet with intermittent fasting.
