The LONMIN share price thread

They can't afford these miners to loose jobs, not with the marikana massacre.

They need the support, they are in k@k already

And you imagine they are going to bail out a listed company that they have no financial stake in with tax payers money? And you imagine they are going to do this in a way that protects Lonmin's current shareholders? That doesn't sound like stable ground for investment in my opinion.

Also more and more likely that most of Lonmins mineworkers are now eff supporters.

Ok, I have no knowledge about shares and such.

What exactly is happening on the 7th of December?

We find out if they managed to raise the $400m they need to continue operations.

Thanks!

Bloody hell, this is like having a flipping fruit machine in the office.

In your opinion is Lonmin going to tank, or will they raise the required money.

Do I have to call in to trade? It is unavailable for trading on EE right now.

It seems to be available when you can buy or sell at a sucky price and unavailable when you can buy or sell at a good price.

It keeps saying: This security is currently unavailable for trading

So can't tell you if you'll be able to buy.

Does that include selling or just buying?
