The LONMIN share price thread

Another use for platinum will be discovered and then the prices will boom again.

Think long term here boys.

A resource won't just evaporate and die out

People have always been telling/asking me why gold/silver.

Ever tried taking large amounts of cash overseas vs few gold coins?

Exactly I own a little gold and God dammit I'll rather take a chunk with me to the UK than to convert my Rands to pounds lol

How is the diesel engine's demise relevant? Unleaded PETROL cars use catalytic converters too, so unless Electric takes over completely that market will hardly see any change at all.

Not to mention motorcycles and other vehicles that will never go diesel in the first place.

diesel engines uses roughly twice as much platinum as its counter part

Okay, but still doesn't mean the market is gone with diesel.

Which isn't going to happen anyway.

I didn't say that. Just don't expect the platinum price to recover significantly any time soon

Getting 603 shares for R175 I'm going to play this out to the very end.

Going to add a sell order Monday morning for 1000 shares @ r1 each .
This way will gete some of initial investment back if it sells :)

December 11 is the buy back order so I'd say hang tight till December 12. When does the market close in December?

I have R500 waiting to be spent in EE... Do I buy some Lonmin on Monday or in December?

It's payday so I'm purchasing a few thousand more shares in the morning to add to my collection. Usual disclaimer of not investing what you can't afford to lose.
