From someone who has owned a countless number of MacBook Pros, reinvesting the cash is a far superior move. Your new MBP will bring you a few days, perhaps a weeks worth, of joy and then it becomes another ridiculously overpriced tool. Your shares on the other hand, well I don't need to tell you about the kinds of emotions they will bring. And the best part is, you decide for how long you feel like riding the roller coaster ;-)

I feel ashamed today, I had nightmares about lommy last night, I think lommy feels betrayed because I took the fruits and left. Lommy is going to show me today what it's like to be on the ride, the ride I so cold heartedly got off yesterday.

I don't think I should watch any lonmin prices today, this is the exact same feeling when you go through a breakup, but you still have each other on facebook.
