RONALDO SET FOR CONTRACT TALKS

Cristiano Ronaldo's agents have confirmed the player is set to have talks over a new deal at Manchester United.

Real Madrid's pursuit of Ronaldo was one of the sagas of last summer, but now he appears keen on pledging his future to United after Sir Alex Ferguson won the battle to keep him.

Ronaldo, who is odds on favourite to be named both World and European Footballer of the Year later this season, appears keen on securing a new deal.

Gestiftute - ran by Jorge Mendes - claim a new deal is in the offing, although talks are yet to take place.

"It is normal, that a footballer wants a deal to go with his status and one that matches his performances on the field," Gestifute told skysports.com.

"But nobody has prepared anything concrete.

"We want to avoid all these rumours in the press and will have contact with United."

It was confirmed that no set date for talks has been scheduled.

"We do predict a meeting with Manchester United to speak about the future of Ronaldo, but still there is not an exact date."

anderson, nani just needs a couple of matches under their belts and they'll start performing...

Hargreves was bought to complement Scholes role, with Nani/Giggs/Lee Martin on the left wing, anderson/scholes in left centre midfield, Carrick/Hargreves/Fletcher in right centre midfield, ParkJ/Ronaldo in right wing.

Personally I think hargreves is better than fletcher and carrick to play in that position... Fletcher may have scored a few goals this season but his marking/tackling and vision is nothiing close to hargreves or carrick...

tho Carrick can't mark/tackle that well either :P

Michael jackson's son aka nani has had over enough starts to prove himself, yet his still pathetic (30+ games 4 goals).

Anderson is another wasted purchase with almost 50 games for manchester and not 1 goal to show for it.

The same excuses keep getting brought up for these 2 players, I'm 100% sure next year manu fans will still say the same thing "they need more games...etc".
 
No goal Anderson and Michael Jacksons lost son are hopeless. They both need to perform, watching Nani and Anderson play - you can see that they are nowhere near as good as the Man camp made them out to be.

They are average players.
 
Anderson? When I hear that name, I think of the stars in the sky. That is the only target it seems he can hit.
 
If Ronaldo hits the wall one more time, I'm gonna suggest that he steals a bit of Anderson's skying shots so that he can get it over the wall.
 
Look we always start crap and we played the other top 3 all within the first 12 games. That's hectic. Usually we only get one of them if we are lucky.
