LoL is that why you always say it? Every single manager in the game says that the team starts off slow and peaks later on.

United won the league once when they started off badly, that was last season. The last time it happened was 99.

So stop whining about ''you know we always start badly'' cos that is a lie!

i agree with you genius ,they did start off badly last year but now every united fan reckons they alway start off badly :D

excuses i tell you :D ,but i do think united will come strong

You know, Alex Ferguson always says that we start slow and we only start peaking after the new year, and from my observations, he is right. WTF is so hard to understand? Eish...

Dude, just ignore them. They have no idea about anything it seems. None whatsoever.

Even completely biased and ridculous rival fans know that United start off poorly and get stronger around Christmas and into the new year.

Once we beat Fulham in out game in hand, we are only 5 points off the top, with Cheslki and Pool still to come to Trafford. Don't see what all the fuss is about :)

NOW SHOW ME when u started badly????? Show me, prove it!!! I watch football and i know United most of the time starts off the season by winning right thru.

You started watching football last season, thats why u think United always starts poorly.

I am bored, so I will humour you ;)

Last season you said I started watching them last season, so which is it?

This season we started with a win, 2 draws and a loss.
Last season we started with two draws and a loss.
2005/06 - Two losses by October- 7th place in the league
2004/05 - A win, three draws and a loss - 11th place
2003/04 - Also two losses by October
2002/03 - 2 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses - 10th place
2001/2002 - SIX losses by early December

Yawn, and erm more yawn.

Its taken manchester 8 games to register 2 wins in all comps this season, even last season they were not as bad.

I would even go as far to say that you can go back 15 years you wont find a season where they have only won 2 games out of 8.

All these seasons you mention, United were in a better position than they are in this year. Most of your assumptions are wrong.

You totally pwned them with that :D

I know. They are plenty stupid if you ask me. They ask for facts, I give the facts. The facts prove our point. They dispute the facts. All very odd. :o

I feel a bit sorry for them. I know they like to argue about nothing at all, especially when they are in the wrong, so I humour them occasionally :)

You have no clue as to what is defined as a bad start to a season.

None of those years have been as bad a start as this season or last, they were not even bad starts with united winning majority of their games at the start of the season.

The fact they loss 2 games out of 15 by november means fckall. This season it has taken them 8 games to rack up 2 wins that is what is called a bad start to season.

I am sorry. I was not aware you were the one I should ask for a definition of a bad start to a season :o

Let's try this dance again.

2004/05 - A win, three draws and a loss - 11th place
2002/03 - 2 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses - 10th place
2001/02 - SIX losses by early December

Just those three seasons then. Good starts? I think not.

So why not make the start of the season till next year March, if you judging a start till so late in the year?

The start of the season is your first few games, 8 games which is over 2 months football which is considered even longer than the start.

NONE of those seasons has Manchester struggled to win 2 games out of 8 and 99% of their seasons they have got off to a flying start.

Ps. please put me on ignore, trying to talk football with someone who doesnt even understand the offise rule is a waste of time.

Hey HenryJ, you make a good point....but don't try and argue with Supasta and Genius cause they are the only ones that know everything about football..!!;)

His made no point, just a pointless post.

His start of a season is after manchester have played 15+ games in some seasons lol.

No ignore for you mate. I told you, when I am bored, I will humour you. ;)

The seasons I quoted have poor starts to them. One win in the 1st five games is not a good start. Well, not if you are Man United ;)

LOL. I know man, believe me, I know. :) They are like so clever, and the rest of us have no idea about anything at all. And, in the case of Man United supporters, we all only just started supporting the team now. Which is odd, cos that is what they said last year...
