I see we are getting a lot of bad post reports again. Unless the personal attacks and complaints stop we will have to close this thread and possibly the forum. Maybe hand out a few bans on the way.

Please play the ball and not the man!

Come on guys. Grow up now. This thread has been doing well recently. Let's keep it clean.

Henry: Please place them on your ignore list. It's no sense spitting against the wind :)

But they come in here and post like a page full of nonsense posts, then I can still see all that clutter even with them on ignore.

There is a much easier solution...

How do you manage to see it if it's on ignore? Let's just ignore them, as I have been doing for ages now. I really can't be bothered by them.

I am sorry. I was not aware you were the one I should ask for a definition of a bad start to a season :o

Let's try this dance again.

2004/05 - A win, three draws and a loss - 11th place
2002/03 - 2 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses - 10th place
2001/02 - SIX losses by early December

Just those three seasons then. Good starts? I think not.

All those seasons Man United had very good starts compared to now.

Let me shut this bandwagon jumper up once and for all

2002/2003 = FLYING start - August to Decmeber - that half a season
proof: http://www.stretfordend.co.uk/seasons/season2003.html

2003/2004 = GREAT start - August to December
proof: http://www.stretfordend.co.uk/seasons/season2004.html

2004/2005 = Except for the first two losses in the first 2 weeks, absolutely AMAZING start - unbeaten from that point till the end of Jan
proof: http://www.stretfordend.co.uk/seasons/season2005.html

2005/2006 = AGAIN A AMAZING START!!! Except for two minor losses - they went unbeaten till middle Jan
proof: http://www.stretfordend.co.uk/seasons/season2006.html

2006/2007 = Another brilliant start - two hiccups allong the way to go unbeaten till end of Jan
proof: http://www.stretfordend.co.uk/seasons/season2007.html

So that proves that United always starts the season off on a flyer!!! So that excuse about ''WE ALWAYS START A SEASON BADLY is RUBBISH!!!!!''

What irritates me is that this forum has been doing great since Henry hasnt posted here, and now that he is back - it is turning into a hive of personal attacks.

@ Henry - do yourself a favour, learn the offside rule before you want to enter into a football debate - cos it is clear your knowledge on the subject is pathetic!

We were doing fine without you, cant u go away?

Hehe, I mean when they are on ignore u still see the tab and that they have posted something. Also, the thread still gets bumped to the top of the page as if someone has posted something that I might want to read. Which is not the case.

I am over them as well. Have ignored them for months. Just wanted to prove a point with United always starting poorly, which is a fact that everyone else who knows about footy can tell you. So I backed it up with facts, and they still didn't go with it. So sad :)

Why are you now going up to January when you said I was not allowed to go up to November even?

Also, nowadays you cannot hardly afford to lose more than 3 games a season if you want to win the league. So two losses early on, IS a bad start.

I see. Well let's just try a little harder then. They can talk to themselves or whatever clones they create :p

What? Please put me on ignore!

U are living in a dream world if u think teams cannot lose three games a season and win the league.

Go away!!

That's the first time I've ever seen him praise Man Utd :p

Maybe in La Liga you can, but in the Prem you always need to target no more than 3 losses.

I am here all day if you want to learn more about football :)

Excellent post and proves the point they have got off to a flying start 99% times!

funny football world henryJ lives in...

The start of the season is 15+ games
If you lose 3 games you cant win a league
There is no offside rule

We always start a season poorly
You cannot lose 3 games in the EPL or you wont win the league
The offside rule does not exist
Manchester United was founded in 2007

:D :D :D

Yes, we do. As have been proven. With facts.
You cannot lose 3 games in the EPL or you wont win the league
That is the target. Yes. Well done.
The offside rule does not exist
I remember having to explain that very rule to certian people here. How embarrassing for them :o

But last year you said I started supporting them only a year ago, so which is it?
