Last season United used to pick defences open, split them with killer passes, pressure teams to break down etc. This season it is very different.

I am tired of this as well. Stop harping on about the same point. I AGREE that we are not scoring freely. I have given you reasons for this and explained why winning 1-0 is just as good as winning 5-0, especially when teams put 11 men behind the ball and play for a 0-0 draw.

This season is very different to last season, not just for United. It has been far more unpredictable and the big teams have dropped more points than usual.

Liverpool are having the same 'problem' as United but they are drawing far too many games, where United are winning theirs 1-0 - a scoreline which suggests a close game, but almost all of United's 1-0 wins have been games completely dominated by United, where the opposition offered very little going forward, but United simply failed to score more from their many chances.

I am not going to get drawn into the La Liga 'debate' again. It is pointless.

Indeed, United's GD is 40-10, Chelsea's 44-15 and Liverpool's 39-15. United have played a game fewer than both of them.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. It's not as if we are not creating chances. We are, but just failing to capitalise on them.

Ya, lets not get into it. Your reasoning that the other leagues are weaker is just plain ridiculous and it deserved a reply. If you gave me a better answer, i could have accepted.

As long as i can remember in all leagues, when the top 4 play - the other teams go out and defend as much as they can - mainly cos they cant keep the possession.

You make it sound like its a problem only when United play. Anyways, enough about that now.

I guess the true challenge will come when United play in the CL - when they play against a team who can actually attack.
 
West Ham away might be a bit tricky. Going with a 2-0 there. Fulham at home should be fairly straight forward. Worse away record vs best home record :)

Were you watching the game? We could have easily had 3 goals that match. If we didn't score that penalty someone else would have. It's just like that.

Recently we have really being playing awesome football....... :)
 
I wouldn't say it's awesome but they getting the results! and the clean sheet!

It's not awesome all of the time. We are not that consistent in terms of playing fluently, but what we are doing is getting enough to win the matches.
 
He doesnt really have a choice. His contract is up - and United have not yet given him a contract
 
Didnt Tevez say a few months ago he would love to play for real madrid?
 
also, he'll be on the bench most of the time. Real Madrid already have 4 strikers.
