I'd probably start like that as well. But I'd have Rooney instead of Giggs. And Hargreaves instead of Anderson. And O Shea instead of Brown. So not much like that after all :p

O'sheat instead of Brown ? no way man.

I will drop Rooney to the bench and hopefully he will realise he needs to step it up a bit in front of goal. But then again, Ronaldo is back to do the scoring. But Park plays better in the midfield then rooney.

I dont know how i forgot about Hargreaves but then I would rather have him starting then Scholes. Giggs can start and play for the first half. Like that he is effective i think.

I agree with giving Giggs only one half to play, and would also perhaps drop Scholes altogether.

For me, Park is completely ineffectual. Like Tevez, he runs around a lot and always appears to be busy, but he does not actually get much done, unlike Tevez. Park's finishing is always poor, he does not cross and he does not do that much defending. Contrast that with Rooney who has done all of the above over the last few games, especially at Chelski.

Anderson, for me, also only deserves one half of football per game. Bring him on if people aren't performing.

On that note, BBT had better step up and look a whole lot more interested and a whole lot less sulky than he has done in the two games he has played until now!

Well that's how teams score - either by making brilliant plays or by taking advantage of a mess up by the opposition. Can't wait for tomorrow's game :)
 
I can't wait for Arsenal to play a good team, so they can stop their bleating.

Think Pool's run of luck might end this weekend at Everton as well :)

As for us, maybe we can score more than one goal against Bolton to make a change :)

I've seen of our best games season after season against Bolton. I got no doubts about the performance in the bolton game.

I'd actually like to see what Carlos does next to Berbs. I kinda feel the link-up Carlos has to offer for Berbs should be better than that of Wayne's.

I'd start Giggs, if Cressy starts.
 
Im very much against all four playing if it means sacrifising one of the midfielders. Isnt it quite obvious to you guys that our midfield is just not strong enough to provide for our strikers ? Why do you think Berbatov is so quiet ( and appears to be sulky ) ? He is not getting any service. I dont know, im not too keen on 3 mids, but then again, we have been starting with our superstar (:D) Darren Fletcher :(

Rooney has been playing as a midfielder, though, whether it is on the right or just behind the strikers.

If you ask me, Rooney should start ahead of Anderson, Nani, Park, Fletcher and probably Scholes and Giggs.
 
Look how much better we were with Rooney on the field. And he even scored!

Park was reasonable and Fletcher decent as well. Anderson was rubbish I thought. Had a lot of the ball in good areas and did nothing with it.

Nani looked pretty poor after coming on as well.

Ronaldo looked sharp, even if he isn't back to his very best just yet.
