This is reason how he is overhyped. I remember him scoring two goals against KaZakStan and against West Brom and everybody couldnt stop singing Rooney praises.

Even tho the teams he scored against are pathetic.

Exactly...Why can't he score against the big boys like Liverpool, Chelsea & Arsenal? :rolleyes:
 
Well according to the stats, last season was his lowest goal count since he first came to Manchester United yet we still won the double.
 
Last season they had Ronaldo to bail them out with goals.This season Rooney cant hide behind him for his inability to score.
 
It is becoming more and more evident that Ronaldo is not going to have the season he had last year.

I believe if a player starts - then he is fit to play! If he wasnt fit enough and not recovered then he wouldnt play the 90 mins!

U okes are waiting for him to have a good game and then amazingly he will be ''recovered''.
 
You make it sound like United losing at Arsenal is an upset and it was expected for United to win. LoL

I watched him on Saturday and must say he is a waste of time. Cannot run, cannot defend or attack. ha - a joke.

Wow how long did it take you to think of that??? He's a wash out. He can't do anything well anymore. He should retire while his dignity is still somewhat intact. Rather give Rafael the starting spot :)
 
I agree. He is old and forgotten. Needs to give the captaincy and his spot off.

Actually I've been saying it 4 years ago... Neville is just not up to scratch... he use to play players on side for a couple of games, his defending level hass ben dropping and ever since his injury I think he should retire and let other players take the reigns.

hmmm seems like ferdinand is the likely successor... tho Van Der Sar would be fine, gigg's doesn't play enough to be captain permanetly, scholes is to tempermental along with rooney and nani, Tevez is playing like crap, Berbertov? lol no way. Vidic? He seems too much of a work horse to be captain... Patrick Evra? lol also work horse, Ronaldo? not mature enough with anderson.
I think it'll be between Van Der Sar and Ferdinand...
