A red card is equal to a minimum of a one match ban but could be extended judging by the severity of the incident.

Since when did they change the rules? Isnt red an auto 3 match ban? Or is it different for straight red cards and double yellows?

It is. Two yellows is one match, straight red is three.

Why are the not showing the United game? :(

Edit: NVM, it's on SS7 :D

It's looking good.

4-1 up, Tevez hattrick. Youngsters looking promising.

Somehow Nani is still having a terrible game :(

OMFG, gary neville! it's high time you retire dude! blackburns first goal... he can't even see where the ball is... second goal he play 2 guys onside, third goal and he couldn't even percieve bennie coming in from behind... wtf? (tho the third is partly the keepers fault... slip and standing in no man's land???

nani is having a terrible game??? what match you watching?

At first i thought that PupaSta and Geni-ass were Messi's gay lovers, but resources tell me that they are in fact in love with C.Ronaldo. But C.Ronaldo reportedly rejected their advances stating that he is not that way inclined. They then began to stalk the Portuguese star leading him to take out a restraining order on the pair of gay stalkers. Their anger at being rejected by C.Ronaldo has led them on an obsessive path to try and destroy the best player on the planet - including feeble attempts to attack his personality, watching his every move and then starting ridiculous treads, and even trying to compare Messi to the great star. If any of you spot them, please report them to the Gay Police (and what ever you do, please don't attempt to argue with them as they are delusional and believe they know Football):p

yawwwwnn, pretty pathetic attempt at humour.Guess when you cant bring anything to the table regarding football this is the best you can do as a post to in the sports section.

Agree with you about Neville G. I am so disappointed that he seems to be past it now. Guess those years out with injury took it out of him.

But Nani was easily our worst player out there. Wasting possession, not getting crosses in, not even getting simple short passes right, selling teammates short, and woeful finishing, except for the goal...

Footy365 recently did a poll of who has been the biggest striking flop so far this season. Was surprised to see Berbatov's name there. I think he has brought quite a lot to the team. His touch is amazing, he already has like 6 assists and I am sure the goals will start to come soon, as well.

Evra banned after Chelsea fracas

Patrice Evra has been banned for four matches and fined £15,000 following last season's post-match altercation with a groundsman at Stamford Bridge.

The Football Association (FA) found the Manchester United defender guilty of improper conduct.

A United statement called the ban, which starts on 22 December, "excessive" and hinted they may appeal.

Chelsea were fined £25,000 for failing to ensure an employee conducted himself in an orderly fashion.

The FA said charges that groundsman Sam Bethell had used racially abusive language towards Evra after the match could not be proven.

A statement on United's website read: "Manchester United note the announcement from the FA and are disappointed with the decision and in particular consider the sanctions against Patrice Evra excessive.

"Manchester United and Patrice will consider all options once there has been an opportunity to digest the full reasons for the decision. There will be no further comment."

The two-day hearing in London finished on Friday and was attended by officials from both clubs, with the cases being heard separately by the FA's regulatory commission.

Evra and his team-mates were asked to move while warming down, sparking the row after last season's 2-1 league defeat in April.

Evra, Gary Neville, Park Ji-Sung, Danny Wellbeck, John O'Shea and Paul Scholes - who did not feature in the match - were running on the field in a warm-down about 30 minutes after the final whistle when the trouble broke out.

The Frenchman and Bethell were pictured having a confrontation following the incident, with Bethell raising a fist towards Evra while being held back by two Chelsea staff members.

The FA said Evra had struck Bethell on the side of the head, and that the player admitted to pushing a different groundsman with his chest

hmmm a incident that happened last season only gets actioned now? is FA hiring SA investigators?

Two incidents happened today in two different leagues.

David Villa met a corner with his hand and was given a yellow card.

I think it was Babel in the Liverpool game on the 14th minute who handled the ball in the box and was shown a yellow card.

I dont know why, when the same thing happened to Ronaldo - it was made out to be that it was a poor decision by the ref, to issue him a yellow card.

2 different leagues, same punishment for the act. Certain users argued everyday saying that Ronaldo didnt have to be sent off last week. Both incidents were similair to his incident.

But i guess both refs dont know the football365 FIFA rules that were posted on this forum.

I missed the game too, lol. From the stats I read that it was totally one-sided ie 70:30 possession / 30 shots on/off goal to Sunderlands 3, but only 1 goal to show for it and that right at the end.

Oh well, guess with Keano leaving them before this game didn't up the build up either.
