Which one did you get? Integration with Weather Underground?
Grabbed the acurite one with lightning detector.

The realtime stuff is great and logging of data

Major problem with this is which i didnt see at purchase is that it only supports EU and US locations. So the forecasting on the app is incorrect

But it works great for measuring stuff like rain, wind, pressure, humidity, strikes etc

Enjoying this cool weather before summer is in full force. Seeing all this rain and my JoJo tank sitting there waiting to be installed making me sad.

So it looks like the rest of SA is getting rain except us in the "north" :cautious:
I suspect this is due to the ridging high pushing all the good stuff away

At least the farmlands in the FS and NC; and the general EC areas are getting some much needed rain....

SAWS predicts good rainfall for tonight and tomorrow morning, consolidating over the northern parts of the EC OFS and southern GP, and extending into KZN. But this pattern is a bit unusual, si I am not convinced that the rain will not extend into the rest of GP as well. We will have to see tomorrow morning if the weather has developed like they predict.

Meanwhile, good rains are falling a large part of the Karoo and they desperately need it.

And then, the bigger picture is showing signs of the first TCs developing in the Southern Indian Ocean region. The official cyclone season starts on the 15th November. Without these systems, not enough moisture ends up in the tropics over Africa, and that means less moisture reaching us.

On closer look, you can actually see the direction of the winds caused by the high around GP and MP, and the low around the WC :D

Between the two pressure differences, its almost sucking the moisture down in-between

Still very overcast here but nary a drop of rain.

What's the prediction? I mean Gauteng Weather, not load shedding.
