Really? I thought it was pretty sh*t. I loved Ziltoid the Omniscient, but Z2 is just a lame @ss excuse for a cash grab on that reputation/following Z1 built...

I guess some people will love it just because it has Devin Townsend in it.

Haven't listened to it yet, but this is pretty much the consensus.
 
I'll listen to anything Dan Swano touched over anything Devin Townsend touched.

I haven't listed to it yet, but I'm struggling to find evidence of such a consensus...

The handful of random reviews I've found have all been positive, gushing even.

Feeling superior about our no doubt internally assumed yet completely subjective musical tastes aside, the issue was one of a claimed consensus, which does not appear to exist...

Meh, I gathered this from comments on subreddits I frequent (/r/metal and /r/progmetal). Probably not a consensus then, more like the first impression I got. Also, finding negative reviews is just as easy as finding positive ones so I'm not sure what that proves ;)

Anyone been listening to the new Job for a Cowboy? I've never really like them due to being too deathcore-ish, but the new album is fantastic.
