Yes! Carved in the Wind has to be one of my favourite songs of all time! That solo is just so damn tasty! Thanks for this dude, I didn't know they had a new album on the way! ;)

5000 at the funeral is insane!!

edit: love the funk/jazz part in Carved in the Wind. Not sure if they are recording a new album, the one I linked is from the Transcendence EP released before 'A Perfect Absolution'

Lol, I never knew the EP existed until now, so I'll have to check it out now :) .... I just checked their facebook page, nothing official about a new album, but there was a photo up of guitar tracks in Pro tools and a lot of posts about "good news" happening this year, so I can almost guarantee a new album is coming out in the near future ;)

You guys heard Voices, featuring three of the gentlemen from Akercocke? Their album, London, is rather tasty.
 
Too bad, periphery is damn skilled, but that sounds like linkin park with a better drum beat :/
 
What do you guys think of the new Enslaved? My initial impressions are rather good.
