Well then. Don't think I could've said it better myself.

Thankfully, I've never personally experienced racism in metal. Yes, it's always been seen as the music/community of pasty white guys - but in the past 20 or so years a lot of women, as well as other races, have come into the scene. For me it's always been the community that accepted you for who you are, and welcomed any and everyone over to the dark side - though, we can be pretty ****ing judgemental of each other at the best of times. We seem to have a love/hate relationship with each other and the different genres, and I even read somewhere that we've been dubbed "the culture of alienation". But racist? Apart from a few tru and kvlt white supremacists in Scandinavia that enjoy burning churches, nothing could be further from the truth.

Never even knew that... Its super sad that most doom bands are usually short-lived (in particular Thorrs Hammer). She only has a few songs but all of them are top quality.
