In honour of Stranger Things...
Chuck was a legend. RIP
In memory of Chuck: I remembered the last musical project of Chuck the other day, I never really listened to it. So I dug it up and found it, gave it a listen, and found that I love this album. This has to be the most underrated musical album ever, this is Chuck at his best, even though he does not do the vocals, nobody composes and plays guitar like Chuck. And these bass lines, just such musical brilliance:Chuck was a legend. RIP
Oh yes! Control Denied was top of my play list years ago - thanks for the reminder, it's bringing back good memories! In memory of Chuck: I remembered the last musical project of Chuck the other day, I never really listened to it. I took Death Live in LA to work on a usb stick to give to a fellow metal head at work. Next day he told me about your band I think. He told me about a band and the drummer`s best band was Death. I can`t remember the band`s name. Very brave of you to cover Death, definitely not easy.Oh yes! Death are the real fathers of technical death metal - my favourite type of metal. I'm a guitarist, but have also played bass in a few tech death metal bands that whist mostly originals, did attempt a few covers, including Symbolic by Death. Sounded not too hard a song to cover initially... Was probably the hardest I've worked with people to get a track right - took us weeks. I even ending up damaging a ligament in my left forearm and as a result have learned to warm up before attempting such ridiculously fast sections. But not only that - to learn Chuck songs, you have to forget how to count, and learn how to count like Chuck did (or didn't), lol. Death was our drummers favourite band and I learned to love them too through him.
I'm looking for Afrikaans Metal like Alleen Na Desember. This is awesome meer plz sir.
Lwandile of Vulvodynia is killing it here!
