The METAL Thread

This band is not a metal band but they have some metal songs and some really heavy tracks.
They kindly wrote the show opener and a full track. Sadly neither have been put online so that I can share them.
Their heavier stuff will be published later in the year and early 2027.

Yea, saw them as Hokum in Cape Town a few years back. What I can remember is that Hokum were 3 members from Marlowe, with the bassist (Jason I think) taking over drummer duties. Then later Rory (og drummer) joined Hokum again as the drummer and the bassist seems to have left...? Dunno.

Doesn't seem like they've released much since then though. Here's hoping they have something on the horizon
 
I watched Electric Callboy supported by Ice Nine Kills and Coldrain (missed them) last friday.
EC set was about 1 hour 45 minutes long and was unreal, great atmosphere from the crowd through the whole night.
Ice nine also had a great set and good horror theatrics.
not sure how many people attended, venue holds +-15000, I guess maybe 7000 - 9000 so quite a decent size,
the sound in the venue was also unreal.

I'm SO jealous. 2 of my favourite bands. Throw Babymetal in there and it's the ultimate show
