Ordered one for a buddy from StackSocial. Just came in yesterday. Think it was $75 including delivery. Will try it out tonight hopefully

Alot of people didn't read and follow the redemption instructions.
They paid for the coupon code. Which needs to be redeemed on the http://www.extremefliers.co.uk/ website (link provided) and pay a further $10 for delivery.

Will post a proper review soonish. Little one on the way so things are a bit hectic.

It's fun to mess around with.
Charges via USB.
Comes with a spare blades.

Real easy to fly, thou not recommended indoors! I flew it into a couple objects and people. Haven't actually had time to take it out doors.

The remote has a real cool function where you press a button and it flips.

Range tested indoors for 10 meters, good for 120 apparently.

Will post pictures/videos when I get a chance.
Quality is around 720.
 
I am interested in buying a drone with a camera off Amazon in the next few months hopefully and have my eye on a few in the $50 bracket. From what I can gather, these smaller, cheaper versions take still and video which is stored on a micro SD card which is then downloaded to your pc once the drone is back, is there a way to record live feed on these smaller versions? One Q&A mentions that with some DIY it can be done but does not say how and I don't see how because it's only recording to a card unless he means taking it apart and adding some chips or something?

Flight time on most of these guys is around 7mins give or take a minute with a full battery but will a better battery allow it to run longer?

Maybe have a look at Toy Kingdom stores. They have quite a range starting from R599 and if it doesn't work you can just take it back. I think you can even test in store which what they did at their Bellville branch for us. Bought my son one for his birthday.

It's impossible to tell because he's set such a clever location in his profile but he's in the USA.
