The Middle East Conflict Thread

I heard a Palestinian guy on 702 this morning, he was crying for peace. He said peace for him, peace for the Jews, peace for everyone.
I felt really sorry for him.
Maybe next time they will not vote Hamas into power?

two things .... quote from the Quran anything that is said that goes against humanity ... else i wont entertain replying .... you guys can wiki and quote all day on how this cleric teaches murder, killing and this is not Islam ... and yes they wrong ... so quote me from the Quran ... you guys have a warped view on Islam ...

secondly Hitler has murdered 6million Jews, and he was a practising and devout Christian, Roman Catholic, was he not? ... so are we to blame Christianity for this?
 
and to marine1, gary and frankie, phenom what is your guys background? schooling work lives ... i curious to know the background and maybe then i can understand why you guys carry your viewpoints ... (sorry if it was mentioned before, but 29 pages is a bit much to go through)

yes im 29, degree in elec eng from wits university, a consultant in the the Telecoms arena and yes im doing fairly well for myself ... what about you guys? (don't fight, but i think its relevant to know your guys background and also beliefs ... )

Phenom clearly you are very uninformed ... i am just discussing fundamental stuff here ... if Islam in your view promotes murder, rape etc quote me from the Quran else stop posting ...
 
so come guys ... (yes i have read the posts you guys quoted and yes I condemn the actions of Muslim people promoting killing,murder and rape under the banner of Islam, which Islam does not promote)

again quote me from the Quran... that Islam preaches hate and violence ... else i wont bother replying, come prove me wrong here, you guys are so intelligent ... so quote something from the Quran ... i dont like it that you guys are saying Islam is a religion and belief system that teaches such things ... !? ... and come give me your guys background age, be open about who you are? what's to be shy about? i really want to know the background and can then understand why you guys carry certain viewpoints ...

While he called himself such his actions did not portray this

Supposedly 'Roman Catholic', although he certainly rejected many aspects of Roman Catholic and Christian teaching generally. One thing he found abhorrent in Christianity was the idea of humility and that Jesus allowed himself to be killed and was thus a weakling in Hitler's eyes. Not to mention the fact that Hitler despised Jesus because Jesus was a Jew. Hitler did apparently have an interest in things of an occult nature.

thanks R/SGT :) ... you have enlightened me ... see discussion like this is good ...

EDIT: so he basically turned Christianity into a form that suited him ... well the same can be said about Muslim clerics who say killing innocent people is ok, they taking a religion and committing crimes under the banner of religion ... dont many leaders do that? so why should we judge a religions teachings based on certain peoples actions ... and btw for my understanding here, and i don't know the answer, and no one has given me the answer, why did Hitler hate the Jewish people so much?

Just one more question - do you condemn the bombing of the World Trade Centre and confirm that those homicide bombers will rot in hell?
