It's about time we had one. It's as legitimate a meal as any, and often more delicious.

Tonight it was macaroni and cheese rolls...

As it turns out, two of these bad boys is far too much for any sane human being. Or at least an ordinary sized human being. Could barely polish off one...

Ate some avo + pepper + lemon juice. tbh I'm about to crash & hard too.

edit...dj...dude thats noodles on bread...what the hell happened to your low carb thing?

The midnight snack used to be my fourth meal of the day for many years until my hernia started revealing it's-self.
The midnight snack also contributed weight gain. Sigh.

So.... It's gone now. No more eating after 10 ):

Mine was never hectic. Couple of sausages microwaved to splitting point and consumed with a jar of chilli as the dip. Favourite snack.

Had one on Friday night/Saturday morning. Garlic polony, cheese with jelapeno dip toasted. Was delicious. Felt damn guilty afterwards. Bread and the hour it was consumed.

A nice fresh tomato, a chunk of cheese and a stick of biltong

Before I started this crazy Keto thing, I used to eat just about anything I could find in the middle of the night (rusks, biscuits, pillows, etc).

Now I simply have no appetite any longer.

I hardly do the midnight snack thing anymore, but when I did, it was often the following:
2-4 slices of toast
generous amounts of mature cheddar grated on top
sprinkles of oreganum and peri peri
microwaved for 1 minute to melt the cheese

washed down with a big glass of milk

I usually just eat whatever is in the fridge at the time, from leftover pasta to a giant block of cheese. Normally wash it down with a small cup of milk.

Tomato juice, crackers with brie, or a slice or two of camembert. Got some stilton from the cheese shop in Lower Main Road, Obs today so got that all lined up

Since its the season...

Peanut butter. Straight out the jar.

Dammit, this midnight/early morning feasting habit of mine has gotten so out of hand, I don't keep anything that can be consumed without preparing it in my fridge anymore. No cheese, bread, tomatoes, gherkins, pickles, whatever. No tinned fruit, bake beans, sweetcorn, rusks, anything. I devour it all at night :o
