Those speeds are pretty impressive too, 4kb/s? I don't know if anyones iBurst has ever gone that low without serious network problems.

Aah.. now I'll be off to collect my iBurst cheque :D

The only bad experiences I have had with iBurst have been with their euphemistically-named "accounts department". Each and every time I have had an accounts problem (about 5 times) I have had absolutely no response until I forwarded the email to Thami Mtshali himself. Amazingly, that seems to be the only mail from me that the accounts department does receive as all the others were "not received".

While my speeds are pretty poor (~250kbps), I mostly value the "always on" bit. (I'm in no rush to reach my cap!) If they could just sort out their people problems they would be top of the pile by some way.
 
I used Iburst for nearly a year and a half and i got defnitly get 1Mbit speeds and my G9 Iburst connection is defnitly faster than the 512K adsl line of the company I work for and i will stay with Iburst when they upgrade to 2Mbit, 6Mbit and 16Mbit.

I get 107KB/s on torrents and i can proof it with screenshots on my pc.
I also get good speeds after i am capped (sometimes 50KB to 60KB if I am lucky.

Dude House is an awesome show and you are disrespecting his greatness with this pathetic post.

I have personally been researching iBurst for the past 8 months and I average 800kb/s, which is ever so slightly faster than a Telkom line..

Oh and I don't get paid by iBurst, if you ask around you will find out I am a government spy here to convert you bwahahahha... Idiot.

You never answered which I presume means you realised the stupidity of your situation and left it at that. If you don't have coverage you cannot compare to everyone else. Go ask your mommy to buy you an ADSL line instead.
