The mouse

I ordered the mm530 from Raru. Thanks for the advice. I will do a mini review once I get it.

It's not like your existing shape, was aimed at DanDango.

mm530 has internal weight you can remove dropping it to 88g

Yes, I watched some YouTube reviews on it where they do it. But I prefer a heavier mouse. Ah well let's see what's like

I can hardly have a mouse discussion today without being interrupted by the MX518 being the best mouse today. It is nostalgic and outdated, in my opinion.

Zowie, as mainstream, probably have the best shaped mouse and reliable switches on the market. I have a G403, because Logitech ‘copied’ Zowie, but Logitech have real bad switches like most others.

Finalmouse, Zowie, Logitech, when it comes to FPS, they are top rated. I like Roccat, but it is way too expensive packaged, alternatively Steelseries is a solid choice.

Corsair, buy their keyboards.

Razer, you don’t even see them on the esports scene that much anymore.

I use my Aorus M7 Thunder to play games where I need more buttons.

Doesn't look that bad

Views like a paid advert. The mouse is schit, it is overly designed with little to no gaming philosophy in mind. It weigh close to 150g, that is closing in on my ROG Spatha. Most cheap wireless mice will be better than Bluetooth mice.

All it have is a good sensor, but many mice in the R500-750 price bracket have good sensors today. Not to mention the MM520/530.

The low DPI button... sniper buttons are nothing new and it is a schit implementation to start with, hello Corsair. You learn to play at 1 DPI setting per game.

The processor? Heck, why does it need processing power other than computing it's onboard memory and executing profiles? The sensor already does most of the work.

The G305 is a much better mouse. If you like, you can program G keys to enable a sniper button on any button.

I don't use my mouse for gaming. Just need something that works and feels comfortable.

Why the need to go wireless? I don't see that mouse lasting too long without charging. It uses a superb sensor, but a power hungry sensor.

The cheapest mouse to sit in your hand happens to be the MasterMouse.

I will recommend the G403 wired. It is priced around $40 today in the US. The G403 wireless is replaced with the G703 which is a great mouse but expensive. Alternatively there is the same shaped G603, but due it having AA batteries it is on the heavier side, but easier on the wallet.

I know the Xiaomi is on special, but it is in the same price bracket as the G305 which is simply better in every way, but it isn't shaped to sit in your hand.

All this comes down to how you grip your mouse in any case.

There are many other mice on the market, Cougar also upped their game and is very well priced.

Wires which are restrictive, get a bungee. The Cougar bungee is cheap and locally available and much better than the original Razer bungee or hack your own with a paper clip.

There was a sale on the Zowie ZA series the other day, can't remember where, but it was around R700. Competition will always struggle to beat Zowie's shape without copying them and at least your switches will last.

I was just curious about the Xiaomi. I ordered the mastermouse a couple of days ago.

Excellent choice. The MasterMouse should be the most basic mouse on the market today and everything beneath it must be scrapped and terminated. I recommend that to everyone new to PCs or gaming.

The value is unrivaled, the 2 closest in competition are the Cougar Revenger S and Rival 310, both a bit heavier on the wallet.

Speaking of mouse bungee, someone 3D printed one for me, I'll see what it's like tomorrow.

Cool idea to 3D print these. The only gimmick with a actual stress relief feature. If there is one thing all mice manufacturers must copy is the cord of the latest Finalmouse.

Finally got the MM530...
