The new rules for gyms under lockdown level 3

Once a vaccine goes around things should return to normal. Could be at least a year though before that.

Though I doubt people will be shaking hands as much anymore and will tend to be more aware of germs.

I hope so, but Doubt it,
no way in hell a pharmaceutical company will make a vaccine that works and you never need another,
there will be further strains of covid, much worse than the initial batch, and more infectious,

can almost guarantee, at some point we will be wearing masks in bed while sleeping, we will be so terrified of catching covid while we sleep.
I mean once that seed is planted in peoples minds, hard to know how far people will go with it,

point is, Id cancel gym membership, spend that money on masks and sanitizer,
as no way things will go back to normal in a long time.

Cancelled my VA and Vitality memberships yesterday. Will save me about R765 p/m. Haven't been to the gym since lockdown began, so no point in throwing away more money. I still do exercise at home which is actually quite nice.

we cancelled gym membership 4 years ago. Tbh, I occasionally miss the variety of gym equipment but happy with savings done over these years.

  • Vigorous training equipment must be spaced a minimum of two metres apart;
  • Medium and low-intensity workouts must take place with a minimum distance of 1.5 metres at all times;
This is an example how governments try to confuse and complicate issues. Why not 2 metres for all, especially as vigorous training is not defined and therefore an elastic term.
Many people do not know what 2 metres are anyway. Why not have something like 'if the outstretched arms of both people can touch one is too close'.

Nothing more annoying than arseholes who leave weights on the floor and don't put them back when they're done with them.
Usually the same asswipes who have 10 or more dumbbells around their bench for their hour long workout.
A couple of them there at the same time and you won’t be able to find weights for your training.

Exactly. Then they'd hog 2 or 3 machines while they're at it too. Personal trainers like to do this with their clients. Very annoying, especially when the gym is fairly busy.

These guys most likely still live at home while their mom does their washing and cooks their food.

Unless there are cvnts at your gym, there'll be no way to enforce this.

OK, I am a lazy cretin and don't wanna read the guavament thingy.
Can I still walk my dog? :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Gone are the days of the smell of sweat, the sticky slippery equipment you gave a quick wipe with your sweaty towel while wiping your head, nose and eyes, slowly pulling your legs of the seat when you done because it got stuck by the human sweat glue, enjoying the cool aircon circulating and blasting your face with the droplets of pure adrenalin.

/life has changed.

And remember if you have issues with the gym staff or manager, @WorldWarII will come bliksem them for you and at the same time give you fat overweight gym wannabees a whipping that will align your inner slimness in mind, body and soul.

damn right

Anybody know how much tolerance the body has for disinfectant? Is swear I am slowly being poisoned by the stuff.

Anyone know if we are we allowed to cycle outdoors during this lockdown? I haven't seen anything mention that specifically.

I've started buying natural disinfectants from Faithful to Nature - not sure how good constant long-term use is of even the natural stuff, but it doesn't leave my skin feeling as crap, at least.

All that work by the actuaries at Discovery Health, that gyming benefits ones health, down the drain.
