The Nissan Micra Thread

2026 Nissan Micra EV 52 kWh real life range test with 18-inch wheels and summer tires

Small electric vehicles are particularly well suited to urban driving, which is why Nissan has revived the familiar Micra nameplate as a fully electric model based on the Renault 5 E-Tech. The two cars share many of their key components, yet each brand has applied its own interpretation of how a modern city car should look, feel and drive.

In today's article we'll see how efficient the Nissan Micra EV 52 kWh is when driven in the real world and if it lives up to the manufacturer's promises. The WLTP figure is set at 408 km.

The important figures for today's test are the large-for-the-segment 52 kWh usable battery capacity and a single motor powering the front wheels. Given that the Renault 5 E-Tech with the same motor and battery was one of the most efficient vehicles we've ever tested, our expectations for the Micra are incredibly high.

Our thorough review with all important details about the Nissan Micra EV 52 kWh is coming soon but today our focus will be on range and efficiency.
