Nissan Micra prices: new supermini costs the same as the Renault 5
The next question is fairly obvious, then…
Nissan has revealed prices for its brand new, all-electric Micra supermini, and they start from £22,995 and top out at £29,865.
Those prices are… pretty much exactly what Renault will charge you for its brand new, also all-electric 5 supermini. This is because both cars are the same underneath, share the same proportions and powertrains, and now, prices.
So, the next question is a fairly obvious one: which engine are you getting in yer classic R107 Merc SL for between £22,995 and £29,865? We jest, of course, because the Renault 5 is a fantastic little supermini, so its Micra cousin should be just as good.
Like the R5, the Micra will get either a 40kWh battery with a single motor, 121bhp, 166lb ft, and up to 195 miles of range. That’s available in the entry-level ‘Engage’ spec (£22,995) or ‘Advanced’ (£24,995). The latter car gets a bigger touchscreen, cruise control, parking sensors and more speakers.
