I wonder what happens if you playing vanilla without premium and the next map on the server is for the new DLC?

Unless it prevents you from joining the server altogether if there is at least one of the new maps?

That would kinda suck cos then us vanilla players will have almost no servers to play on, even the normal content...
 
yep, was thinking the same thing

but I doubt all the servers will change to the new maps

but that is just wishful thinking

I think in BF3 it just kicked you when a new map loaded, but it may not connect you at all
 
Sad to say I'm not finding this game as fun as I found bf3.its probably just me...
 
Ingame, press esc. Bottom right there is a tab "boosts" available. Click on it and select the one you want. I dont use my big ones yet. If the server goes down, you are not getting any rewards. Wait till things are stable and sorted and there is a double xp weekend or something. Beeeeeeeeg points.

well it's the current double XP and then after this one is the Premium double xp

I seem to just get standard ones, but have seen guys activate TEAM ones
 
I dunno whether it's coincidence or not but I read somewhere yesterday that people with Realtek audio in their PCs should update to the latest drivers form the manufacturer to fix the issue where the game hangs all of a sudden with an audio loop in the background.

I updated my audio and video drivers and disabled my anti virus, played for 4 hours last night without a single crash / freeze etc. Touch wood

Unless it was just the patch that fixed something, but my friend who played last night still glitched out a few times. I'm gonna update his drivers as well and see if his also comes right

Will try this, also read that you should disable all the nvidia HD audio drivers under device manager... I had like 5 running for some reason.
 
I get a glitch sometimes in a vehicle where the gunner fired a few shots, it keeps the audio and it sounds like he is shooting that thing non stop. I have to get out and back in again for the noise to stop.

Happens to my friend when I use a silenced LMG, it loops in his audio.

Yea I did that as well I think a week back, except I went to uninstall programs and removed it from there leaving only the actual drivers and the physx.

Still had issues after that though, until I did the other updates as mentioned above.
 
nope, no coincidence

have also seen a few guys mention that even when they changed from something like a USB headset, to 3.5mm jack set,
that they also encountered it to "fix" the game
 
hmmmm, so I see some1 mentions that they managed to copy the China Rising content from a Premium member friend, and managed to play it, even though they aren't Premium.

person now says that it does indeed ask him to download again

I see some of my friends that don't have PREMIUM, can join a normal server with the DLC maps, but still not sure what happens when they reach a DLC map in rotation.

Question: If I use for eg. a 100% boost that means double right? So if a boost says 200% that should be??? triple? 4x?

I was never good with percentages...
