Fanie - do you have spacers on your wheels? To push them out a bit? That might also help with the scraping ...
 
So, got my mini back yesterday. Hilow's installed, new windscreen installed.

Feels like I'm driving on a cloud. My rubber cones were fcked. According to Dez, the new cones measure at about 89mm, and for every 1mm it collapses you loose about 5mm of ride height. Mine was sitting at 69mm. Hard as a rock. Says it must have felt like I was driving a brick :D

Happiness, think it's ready to go through roadworthy now...

Drove it to work today... no problems... except 1. Filled the tank with lead replacement, and my gauge went below red :wtf: The further I drove the higher it got... hehe think it can't hand a full tank LOL Will drive it like 2 or 3 days and refill, and see what mileage I get.
 
So on my way home, the blerrie pigs pull me over... almost twice!

First time, he asked why I'm not wearing my seatbelt... and where's my license disc. Said I just replaced the windscreen the day before, and forgot to transfer the disc to the new windscreen. He was fishing for some "lunch" but I wouldn't give in. First he said he'll only write me for the seat belt, and just after he started filling in the fine... he said, it's ok I can go. :D

Second time, he pulled me over close to home, but as I past him on the left, he was pointing at the Taxi behind me... as I drove away I first thought "Thanks god, bullet dodged", but later I realised he was actually pointing at me, AND the taxi behind me... :D

In @ work with the little guy again today. Time to find out when I can take it for roadworthy!
 
Damm, that's a nice custom job ... won't do it like that myself, but some elements is very cool!


demmit ... missing cars in the park this year! :cry:
