The Official EPL 2010/11 Thread

It's odd, I've always heard that Randy Lerner was one of the better owners in terms of allowing the manger freedom of funds and the like. Wonder why he wouldn't want the manager to spend the excess from a transfer out, on transfers in. He's made a terrible mistake in letting O'Neill go.
Very Odd
-A manger like O'Neill
-Players like Milner, Young and the like
-Competing for European Football

Then you go:
Selling those players, lose a manager like O'Neill - self destruct much:confused:

EDIT: If only Liverpool waited a little longer....lol

tbh, never was a fan of the vuvuzela before the world cup, but now when I watch a match like this weekends German Supercup or Community sheild it feels like something is missing.
Yeah, you won't really find south african players in big international teams.

I wonder if Sven might coach Aston Villa, I read about Oneil and he's a good manager - he's been consistent for years which is good.

I wonder how the minnows Blackpool will do. Can't expect much from them. Their stadium is rather small, too

It's almost guaranteed they will be relegated, that's what many predict.
I don't think they're bad, they have it in them to beat the likes of Wigan / WBA and Newcastle but usually from home.
Also they haven't bought new players so far.

Spurs and Man City will be an interesting game to watch. Love to see Spurs taking that one.

High profile signings £100 million.
Losing first game of new season Priceless.

I'd love to see Man City rip Spurs a new one.

...and that's got nothing to do with the fact that I'm an Arsenal fan

I think there is a good chance Chelsea could finish out of the top 4 this season. Just a feeling
