LOL I think the Evertonian I right. Liverpool just might be "going down, going down , going down!"

Did anyone catch the Blackpool-City match last night? I felt so sorry for Blackpool, they absolutely ran the show for most of the match and played such attractive, free-flowing football. I'm still of the opinion that their defender was fouled just before Tevez scored his second. David Silva's goal was awesome though.

I read something where the blogger said there was a poster @ Everton that said "Agent Hicks and Gillette: Job done!!"

:D

Blackpool missed a sitter and should have scored first after they had a good spell. According to the commentator the first City goal was against the run of play. Holloway was complaining about some of the decisions in the post match interview so I assume he was refering to the incident before Tevez's second. Silva's goal was pretty awesome. Arsenal players should youtube it just to see what you need to do with all that possesion in the box. :D.

Love the way Blackpool is approaching the season. Nothing to loose, lets give it a go attitude.

+1 for Blackpool. They are really giving it a go. Let's hope they don't shut up shop when the going gets tough like Burnley did - we all know how that turned out in the end.

The best thing about them is how attractive and confident their play is, and the fact that they don't seem to be scared of anybody.

Don't forget West Brom... Di Matteo is doing a sterling job with his charges in his first tenure as a Prem League manager.

Don't remind me :(

Plus, he seems like such a nice guy. Maybe Liverpool should appoint him after they sack Roy :p

He is a great guy, I remember his time with us - first Italian international who wasn't considered over the hill to come to Chelsea and give his all. One of my fave ever players. It's nice to see him doing well in his life after footy.

Good news for Everton fans - apparently they have a 25% sell-on clause in Rooney's contract. (Aplogise if this has already been posted elsewhere)

I read somewhere that United might consider a trade plus cash for Rodwell.

Everton couldn't afford his wage demands

Perth Glory striker Robbie Fowler claims Wayne Rooney is considering a move to the A-League.

Former England international Fowler claims he has chatted with his fellow Liverpudlian, who has confirmed this week he will not be signing a new deal at Manchester United, and with tongue in cheek hinted Rooney would consider a move to Western Australia.

He said on the Glory's official website: "Everyone knows I went home (and) it's probably only just come out lately about Wayne Rooney, but being in the football know, I found out a couple of weeks ago (that he wanted to leave Manchester United).

"I just had to come home and see if he'd be interested in coming to Perth.

"The signs were good. I was really pleased with the chat we had and we'll see where it takes us.

"I sold it to him and told him what a lovely place it is.

"I told him what I think about the city and he knows obviously all about a lot of the players.

"He's umming and ahhing at the minute, but it's looking good.

"He's very, very interested so watch this space."

Perth's deputy chairman Lui Giuliani said the idea was not as laughable as some may think.

"Well if and it's a big 'If', Wayne Rooney was out of contract, and Robbie Fowler could pull some strings we would love to have him at Perth Glory even as a guest," he said.

"If I said four years ago that Robbie Fowler would be playing for Perth Glory, I'm sure many people would have had a laugh."

ROFL :D
