The Official EPL 2011/12 Thread

2nd goal was offside as well. third goal was stupid in the extreme. we've not played badly, but united have just been clinical (and lucky obviously). great game though, can't complain. I do think we've been a little too attacking considering we're playing a very on form united at OT. Oh well, hopefully some change for the better of chelsea in the second half.
True, attacking wise Chelsea have played brilliantly! If only Ramires scored those 2 goals, De Gea was good in saving both those chances. As you said at the back they haven't been defending well, nani should've been closed down and that 3rd goal!? WTF was happening there! Players should come back a bit, especially our full backs.

What a game. It's got to be the best game of football I've seen in a looooooooooong while. Torres isn't back to his best, but he is certainly getting there. AVB has put his money where his mouth is and is playing youth. I mean putting on Lakuku on instead of Sturridge, taking off Lamps... I just have to say that I see more positives than negatives. Not happy we didn't at least draw, but can't fault United at all for that.

Well played and see you at the Bridge! :)

lmfao, I feel so bad for Torres, he should have had at least 2 goals today but the bad year he had last year has clearly gotten to his head but I hope he keeps attacking and doesn't lose confidence because that's the only way he can return to his former glory.

Great game none the less though, a lot of open field passes and good saves, poor defense especially from Chelsea.

You know it's bad when you miss the whole guy with no one there. :/
I felt he rushed it and was too anxious.

Great Game!!

I love it when we score offside goals against Chelsea and long may it continue (payback for that Drogba goal when they last won the league)..:D:D

its just a matter of time before chelsea click. when they do, they will beat utd easily. the scum is still way off barcelona.

Don't understand how ref could give the yellow, but then no penalty? - Doesn't make sense!
Yeah that was :/ - but I didnt see any United supporters arguing too much - maybe if the scoreline was diff, they would

Doesn't matter what the scoreline was, those kind of tackles don't belong in the game - could've broken his leg.

if the scum win, nothing matters. i think cole just take out his frustration for the 2 offside goals utd scored. pity the officials always have to bail the scum out.

Haha, pudding for brains, I tell you.

If that was saurez/gerrard being tackled you'd be screaming blue murder and wouldn't try justify it.

Indeed.

I hope Chicha is OK, couldn't give a **** about the red card Cole should've seen.

Ball was out of play when the tackle happened. He gave acard, but couldn't give a penalty. It's really not that difficult to understand.
