The official Mikrotik router thread

I'm also in the 'buy once, cry once' regime on this one, if it's within the realm of affordability.

You can always have the capability and not need it, than need it and not have it :)

Like when I put Ethernet over Power in, not realising the units were 100Mbs and not 600Mbps :(

very nice.

I am still happy with my RB3011 bought second hand. Though, I found it was barely used when picking it up.
RB3011 are also really cool. All the ARM-based routers are great. My MIPSBE powered hAP ac was having a hard time keeping up with a gigabit line. Hit 100% CPU at around 840Mbps when using FastPath and a fraction of that without FastPath.

I am seeing similar with my ac2 on a 500Mbps line, when introducing queues, the CPU spikes to about 40%, but then the speed drops to under 300Mbps

Scenario: LG TVs in the house don't have ExpressVPN app available.
IS there a way to "route via ExpressVPN" directly on the Mikrotik router?

If you can use Wireguard for ExpressVPN and have a ROS7 device you can route the traffic for specified devices over the Wireguard route
