The Official Motorola Atrix 4G Thread

So, the Atrix 4G pricing is available but no stock. Reports indicate the retail package will include HD dock & HDMI cable. The suspense is killing me but the lack of interest concerns me...any reason?

I will check availability with Vodacom Warehouse tomorrow and post here. People are narrow minded when it comes to Motorola I think. In their minds...if it aint a Samsung or HTC it aint no good! They are losing out I think.

Apparently MTN have them now. Friend got one yesterday. It came with the HD dock.

Regarding stock availability from Vodacom SP. Just spoke to device procurement. Device is not yet available for us to order. They expect it to be available second week of September.

Long wait for you guys! But be patient, its one hell of a device, wish i could get one:) (still stuck with my SGS)
 
Oh no doubt sgs is a good fone, just in terms of the hardware side of things if u compare benchmarks the atrix is a beast :) I do still love my sgs

I made a turn at MTN quickly and they say they will only have the Atrix end of October??? That can't be right.... But then again, this shop is pretty bad. 2 weeks ago I asked them about the Sensation and the response was: Sensation? Never head of it :)

Vodacom upgrades & stores have no stock to ship yet. They did offer to keep clients on back-order.

Stock will only be available from Motorola Mobility. Not aware if they are sole supplier. Ai...
 
any prepaid price been released on this yet?

Iv seen a few imports on Bidorbuy for decent prices
 
PROGRESS!!! As per @ocleroux, networks will have stock by 28/09/2011. VC confirmed this today & hoping my handset will be shipped next week!!! Still waiting for an idea of wots in the retail package & if the networks vary the contents.
 
My Colleague got his from Nashua Mobile (Vodacom) yesterday. Nashua is usually behind other vodacom branches, so I guess vodacom should have it by now??????
