I thought you might've been using those wifi adapters that they sell allowing PSP's and NDS/NDSL to use network and Internet :)

I saw on some site that you can get hold of a cart allowing you to surf the net etc.

Hay guys

Am sitting in the middle of deepest darkest Zambia, and dam its good to have my DS here.

Still loving Mario Kart, Have finished all the 50 and 100cc championships and half way through the 150.

This console is so dam addictive, and i battle to explain to people why... It just is :)

Oh 2 questions...

1) Has anyone played the Skate game on the DS, i loved it on Xbox, and looks good on the DS.

and

2) WHY IS THIS THREAD NOT A STICKY!!!!!
Its teh second biggest console thread, xbox and ps3 have 2 stickys, we need one too!!!

I have played Tony Hawks Proving Ground, didn't play much yet(too many games to play) but it seems like I can sit with it.

I bought the M3 DS Real with the memory pack, so I have it. I have an ADSL router with Wireless access, so I have used it a couple of times, early in the month, before I'm capped. You have to have international access to use it, even if you want to access local sites. It looks like it tries to connect to the international Nintendo DS website first to see if you have internet access.

On second thought, found this IGN Review for it. It got a overall score of 8.4!:)
Looks like I'll add that to my list when I fix my DS. Harvest Moon with HP lolwut!?:D

i havent tried it but reviews on gamefaqs look shweeet if harvest moon was ever your thing. anyone tried the new fire emblem game?? i havent but i'll give it a bash and give a review.

man this threads been busy/ hows about a sticky there mods??
 
Havest moon is kinda fun yeah, and with this Rune Factory they're adding combat.... Farmer in the dungeons equipped with his shovel:p

Fire Emblem? Heard that name before but never played it...:(

I don't think the mods read these.... maybe we should send a pm... or even better yet, ask the creator of this thread to send em a pm... Oh Lord Spaceman!?

You guys have to give Skate IT a wirl, played it on a friends DS and it is actually really good. :)
 
Thanks for the note Q121 I'll give it a bash once I fix my DS(I'll add that last part everytime you recommend something).
Well TH:PG was good enough even if I did just play it for a few minutes, so I won't do harm to try this one. Plus IGN gives is a score of 7.9 which is still good. Though they say there are some glitches, like framerate drops(60 to 30), etc.
 
Just found out that DS doesn't like my home network. Bloody thing (DS that is) can only do WEP and mine is WPA-PSK . That's obviously *after* I bought DS browser. :( Tested it after disabling all security on my router. Needless to say, it was a pretty quick test

That's crappy. Then a PSP is superior in the network support then.

Yip, that it is. Can't understand the reasoning behind DS's lack of network support though. To be honest, I didn't even think to check the net for possible issues with WiFi connectivity.

Nobody does WEP anymore. Well apart from the DS anyway. Think the Wii can also do WPA. I could reconfigure, will only affect every piece of networked equipment I have, (4 PCs , 1 laptop, 2 routers, 1 xbox, 2 PSPs , etc) Will file the "DS Browser" under "Lessons Learned" , hang onto it for a while and if I can't find a use for it outside of my home, I'll flog it

Man you cant compare the tony hawk series with skate.... Thats like saying yes my old peanut butter sandwhich should be like my thermador lobster because they are both food ;) haha

Skate is alot more realistic and alot of fun :)

There are a few little bugs that I have read about, but I never saw any...





....I see this is still not a sticky, and they make the xbox/ps3 bashing contest a sticky, nice.....
