I assume you're playing Phantom Hourglass? I'm not a big fan of Zelda games, the only one I really enjoyed is The Minnish Cap on GBA. That one was awesome!
 
Hi there all you DS gurus. I am in the process of getting my kids (ages 4 and 6) a DS each. That is what I tell my wife anyway... :D They cannot take it to school and someone has to take care of it during the day right?;)

Of course I need to get the necessary flash cards as well. Now this is where the problem starts. There are so many available and the more I google the more confused I get to which one to get... DSTT M3 R4 (which according to UK websites are no longer produced) R6????

What card do you have and are there any problems I should be aware of?

I have a M3 DS Real. I'm happy with my cart. Didn't have any problems so far, love my cart. Hate my messed up LCD though :(

I also have 2 kids (8 and 11) and got them each a DS and a M3 DS Real and no problems, everything works fine. Looking at the current prices, I would have tried the New TopToy DSTT. Maybe someone can let us know if it is working OK?

PS: Unfortunately I can't play during the day, so I have to wait until one of them don't play. Started "Quantum of Solace" on one and managed to get to 50 % so far :-)
 
Ja. Amazing how everthing changes with the arrival of kids... Cheers for the info guys. I'll see what I can get on a M3 and the DSTT. Will keep you up to date.

I have a DSTT. Works fine, no problems. Is Quantum of Solace any good?

The story is basically that of the movies (Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace), I think. You are Bond and have to kill a lot of people by using the stylus (shooting or fighting). For me it is fine, I enjoy it, but I haven’t played a lot of DS games, so I can’t compare it.

PS: It is getting tougher so I did not make much progress during the weekend. I am still at 50% :-(
 
I finished Quantum of Solace on the xbox 360 on 007 mode (VERY VERY HARD!!!) It was a suprisingly good game that reminded u of the awesomeness that was goldeneye.

I never knew that it was on the DS and must now get my hands on a copy..... And then try steal my DS back from my GF, she has completed new super mario and is about 70% through the new Pokemon game
 
Ok its official guys...
Moon has been released today... or atleast in other countries.
IGN.com gave it a 8.5/10, nice, but I was expecting more... but I'll check out the review and see why.
Still a good score though, must play it myself.
And my DS is still wasted. :(

Edit: Checked the Video review now and it looks just great!!! The reviewer says he's only gripe about the game is that it tends to be a bit repetitive but its a great game nonetheless. Story is good and is told good. Weapons are well balanced too.

Ok I got my GF a copy of that Dr Kawashimas brain training..... And I am hooked :)

It is the most fun i have had on my DS and I am not sure why..... haha

Started off with a 45 year old brain..... got it down to 30 year old, then pushed it back up to 36 after my terrible hang over on sunday.

Does anyone have this and MP it?
 
Hi guys, long time lurker and DS owner here, let me tell you my (DS) story :D.

I got my first Black DS Lite from Have2have online in December 2007, with it I also got a R4 cart. It was awesome, I had loads of games (I have about 10gb now :o) and I was in love. Throughout 2008 my trusty DS was always with me, even at campus (UCT) and I enjoyed many online matches, mostly during GBATemp's wifi nights.

My little brother also enjoyed the DS and now recently (December 2008) I gave my first DSL to him along with my R4, and got myself a new Polar white DS. I also ordered a DSTT from Dealextreme (Absolute best site for loads of things) along with screen protectors for my fresh DS. While I waited for the TT to arrive, my brother and I had loads of fun playing via the download play feature on lots of games, we particularly enjoyed Super Dodgeball Brawlers. Now my DSTT has arrived, and I'm really enjoying Luminous Arc 2 on it.

Anyway, that's my DS story and if you read it, thanks for your time! Any questions are welcome :D

EDIT: We should definitely organise some tournaments or online play sessions between us, it'd be really fun.

hi everybody.
OK first off im a gameing nut, planning on getting most of the consoles, so i have a PS3, next planning on getting a DS, because im not realy rolling in cash so i can't get new ps3 games as much as i would like, but i was thinking if i get myself a DS and one of the cards R4/m3/tt then as im saving up for ps3's i will allways have something to play on the ds, I have got the roms and the emulators but i find that sort of crap to play on my pc, getting the saving settings right is hell and not all the games use the same save types, and i hate losing my hard work at leveling up character and so forth.
What would be the best card for a ds, im loooking for a cheap one that can use a big SD card like 4 gigs, i read somewhere that the r4 can only take a 2gig
Can anybody here just me a run down on info that i would need to know for my DS quest thanks.
 
I was wonder if there was anyways ppl here could share there ds roms with only local bandwith, does anybody here have any idea's?
 
Hey man... Welcome to the DS community... well not yet, but soon enough.

I can't tell you exactly which one will be best but I have a M3 DS Real and I'm perfectly happy with it. Having no problems with it whatsoever.
 
yea the M3 DS Real is fine and i think it supports up to 16Gigs?

does anyone know when scribblenauts is coming out?
 
hey DS gamers...I don't own one but would like to ask 2 questions..

1.) How high (be honest) is the build quality on these unit and...

2.) I hate dead PIXELS..how badly does the affect the DS. The PSP almost always can with 1 or 2 out of the box...which for a handheld sucks.
