Yea, I saw robotics sold some - not sure how they did that. (saw on another forum it might have been "grey" stock

on Pishop, there is indicated 700-odd in stock (https://www.pishop.co.za/store/raspberry-pi-zero-2-w)
I ordered 200 (and paid already) but they will not ship it just yet waiting for ICASA's approval.

Having spoken to one of the people at work who deals with ICASA, he has confirmed from the time he submits the all the required paperwork it takes 30-45 days to get approval back, barring any queries ICASA may have about a product. There are outliers but from our experience the 30-45 period is how long it usually takes.

NERSA on the otherhand take 3 months to approve a device.

Strange then that the Pi 400 took 6 months if not longer.

So I make my own boards on the charger docks, the physical device (in the video) and another interface board where the Pi plugin with some multiplexers. the Pi, at the time, seemed like the best and cheapest option, because it run on a 16 to one ratio (for every 16 "pickloggers" I only need one "computer" to translate & transmit the data. I still think the Pi is a good low-cost option.

I run it on a CLI Balena interface, so remote deployment etc is easy.

to develop something that transmits (Wifi / BT) is quite a mess (as we can see here with ICASA) and I use this currently on 4 of the 7 continents - the Pi is EU, AUS, ZA and US (amongst others) approved.

I hope this is a good indication. Since the day I ordered (22 Nov) up to today = 65 days.... (minus some holiday's, weekends, etc)
 
I've had a few units on backorder from pishop since november as well
Icasa really dragging their feet with this one.
 
Anyone know where there is stock of the Pi4 4GB? I need 2. I've been checking all the usual sites that I know since early December with no luck. I've checked Pishop, DIYelectronics, robot factory, microrobotics, comminica, netram etc
