On the RS page, there is a link for cancelling an order. Don't know if you tried that.
I used it for another Pi I had on order with them - for which I paid via credit card.

Got my refund +- a week later.

Who are the alternate supplier for Pi's in SA and how are they faring atm?

Hit up RASPBMC RC5, its goooooood as pie

Yup, thats the plan, I run XBMC as my main MC so I pretty much just want the pi to suck up the libraries, forget about pics/folder art/backdrops and stream glorious HD to my bedroom. Cheers xbox hello pi.

Anyone here used Xbian?

I booted up yesterday with Raspbmc - but for some reason it just takes forever to move between menu options and other menus.

My case

Made this little Rasp. Pi case of things around the office!;)

Just discovered Twonky, android and IOS compatible, its an app that allows you to stream music, videos and pictures to your computer, and i tried it with Raspbmc and it works very well from my tablet. It has a nice UI as well and is pretty straight forward to use, it can even play on your other device ie i could play a song from my phone over my home network to my tablet.

Are there any alternative apps like this?
