Soooooo getting back to the transfer mill :erm:

AC Milan have confirmed that an agreement has been made with Real Madrid to sign Dutch forward Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Rossoneri chief officer Adriano Galliani revealed that a deal had been reached between the two clubs for the 25-year-old striker.

He told Sky Italia: "The agreement has already been closed with Real Madrid. The Dutch player will be in Milan this evening (Thursday)."

After a successful spell at Ajax, Huntelaar joined Spanish giants Real in January 2009, but fell down the pecking order of attacking players after president Florentino Perez embarked on his second Galactico spending spree.

New Milan coach Leonardo targeted the international forward after negotiations for Sevilla's Luis Fabiano broke down.

Spurs, Arsenal and Stuttgart were all rumoured to be tracking the striker, but he is now set to finalise a move to the San Siro.

Decent deal but Fabiano is the better player by some margin. I would have paid the extra €4 million to get him instead.

Nobody would touch mascherano when he was at west ham in their reserve team :rolleyes: i can still remember the press ridiculing rafa for signing a guy who was rotting in west hams reserves ,well guess what 2 years down the line and Monsterano is the best Holding midfielder in the world with BARCA wanting him so badly its not even funny :rolleyes:

Alonso was relatively unknown outside of spain ,when he came to liverpool yes he had potential but we turned him into the best in the business at what he does ,hence why Madrid eventually paid us 30+ million for him

Mascherano was wanted by Juventus when he was at West Ham. :cool:

Alonso was wanted by Real Madrid.

Not exactly clubs you sniff at, so obviously they weren't players no one knew about.

show me a link where Juventus was interested in mascherano at the time he was rotting in west hams reserves ,and dont give me articles of before he went to west ham ;)

Juventus have sent an Italian agent, Marco Piccioli, to London to negotiate the possible signing of the West Ham midfielder Javier Mascherano. Piccioli will try to agree with Kia Joorabchian, the businessman who controls Mascherano's playing rights, a deal that would see the Argentina international move to the Italian club at the end of the season.

Here I am rushing to the defence of a very touchy Scouser... Many 19 y/o's are bought by many big clubs. Not all of them are groomed properly. Who's to say he would have blossomed at Real like he did at United. Barca on the other hand...

and does it... Chelsea are pathetic at grooming young talent/semi-unknowns. I didn't take any offence though - I have always been candid about Chelsea's short-comings and am not afraid to take whatever stick comes my way over them. I am a fan yes, but if somethings wrong - you'd better *****in fix it. Remember my (very early) posts on why I thought Big Phlop was terrible even though people were saying he was aright. That was before we crashed and burned.

Bollocks. You obviously didn't hear much about them - which is understandable. However, they (Masch and Tevez) were not unknowns, they were literally bursting onto the big stage. Their only bugger up was signing for West Ham (Kia's advice) because that stupid sod wanted to buy the spanners. He didn't buy them, he let those two go where they wanted - badda bing badda boom.

No harm done, I'm a big boy and know how to handle myself. I'm far from being touchy. I'm actually quite well and enjoying posting on here. You must be misreading my posts. I just like a good argument, that's all.

I already have a red card. 4000 odd posts too. I'd be gutted to lose it all because I called any one of you lowlife scousers something "naughty".
