The Official Xiaomi Thread

Used SUSRepairs to get my Mi6 fixed. It's coming tomorrow.
Will do a full test tomorrow.

Actually used them last week for a battery replacement on a Redmi 4A, got it back, battery was swollen.
Took it back on Tuesday this week and replaced again, all good so far.

Hi guys, I just order the Redmi 6. Is there a upgrade for it for android 9?

Where do I normally see stuff like this :? sorry coming from ios

Banner on home page at MIA - new Smart Phones coming soon - Redmi Note 7 , Redmi Go, Redmi 7. I guess it will be a bit expensive to start with. The Redmi 7a is still in the future, has seen a leak about it. For comparison, the Redmi Note 7 (not the Pro version) 64 gb is available for 11999 rupees in India, about R2460 in rand.

Will be interesting to see what they sell it for locally.

Just go to the max and get the Mi 9 ~$550 or if you want a quality budget phone the Mi 9 SE ~$340 from gearbest.

On a budget the Mi 9 SE is much better buy than the Redmi Note 7 just looking at direct comparison regarding specs and if you are going to pay R4000 local for Redmi Note 7 then ordering the Mi 9 SE for about R4500 from gearbest is a no brainer.

Cant go wrong with either but if you got the extra bucks the non-SE is helluvalot better.

I got my Mi6 back on Saturday.
Everything works but the screen was not inserted properly so the bottom right led only shows half the bulb.
It doesn't bother me too much though.
Seems like they always leave people with a small problem when fixing things.

Wonder if the Google ban of huawei would move over to the Xiaomi, Mi Boxes.

Anyone know when Xiaomi will be launching the new MI MAX 4 ?

The wait is killing me - I wan't to see what features it will sport

You and me both, although still so happy with my Mi Max 3 that I don't really need to upgrade.

But, I probably will. Except if Max 4 has a notch. I refuse to accept a notch or punchhole so it's either pop up or top bezel for me
