Now that the global rom Xiaomi's all have Google dialler with no call recording built in, I am considering buying a K30 Ultra with Chinese Rom to get the Miui dialler and call recording.

Anyone had experience with owning a Chinese Rom Xiaomi and loading Google Play onto it. What was it like to live with?

Some Xiaomi devices received call recording on beta Android 11 with Google dialer in India. So not sure if we all going to get it on Google dialer.

I placed an order on mia.africa.com for the mi tv stick and selected credit card payment but it never took me to the payment gateway and now my order just says "pending". Never received an email confirmation or any mention about outstanding payment. Anyone had a similar experience with this shop? Haven't heard back from their support.

P.S. the constant CAPTCHA challenges popping up is so annoyong.

Just order again...also had the same issue...

If no confirmation email from them then the order did not go through.

Check on your internet banking...I doubt that a transaction was complete.

Just place a brand new order again.

They don't need to honour it. They refund and say sorry it was a misprice.

They won't, especially since they price is a clear mistake.
But usually some companies will give a voucher as an apology

On the verge of buying a Note 9. I see it's a Mediatek CPU. Will it get updates for a few years? I know some Chinese phones with Mediatek in the past, only got like one update. Really would like to get the buds for free. Or should I just pay extra and get the Snapdragon 9S without the buds?

Just got the MIUI 12 update

The MIUI 12.0.3 just came through for my Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and must say the phone is really performing more snappy than before. I also like the slight UI changes they made.
