I am looking at getting a new Xiaomi from Gearbest. I see the Note 7 Pro 6G RAM and Mi 9 SE 6G RAM are the same price. I don't know which one to choose between the two. Any of you guys have the Mi9/SE ?

I'd go for the Mi 9 SE

For now, the K20 PRO for $370 looks like a crazy deal.

I also think the the K20 (non pro) is going to dominate the midrange.

Wow, that K20 Pro ticks all the boxes i'm looking for in my next phone.

- SD855, 8gb ram
- Dual Sim
- Super AMOLED with a popup camera
- 4000 Mah battery with fast charging

All that at under R6000, Hopefully its somewhat water resistant with a decent camera setup.

Didn't realise tapatalk would compress the image that much. The screenshot was very legible on my phone.

The Poco has nice specs but that notch is the size of a warehouse. I'll rather wait for the K20 launch today and see what it has to offer.

Anyone using True Caller and have Live ID working?

Whenever I get a call - the data connection is immediately disconnected, so I can't get the number ID'd.

(running a custom rom - but it didn't work before on the stock rom - or on any subsequent roms)

I may grab a K20 Pro on a decent flash sale. Not sure if it will replace my Mi Max 3, but keen to play with one. Plus my cellular slush fund is now on R8k so may be time to buy a new phone to play with.

If Mi Max 4 has a notch, I probably won't buy one as I am 100% sold on the pop up front camera solution.
