Depends on the apps. Fakebook and whatsupp can fill 32 gig in no time...

WhatsApp user data usually the big offender. Also make sure his camera images gets saves to SD card and not phone memory.

Check under: Settings > About phone >Click on MIUI 12 > Check for updates

Failed to download the first time and then disappeared, I did the above to download it again.
 
Doesn't look like it's released for the single sim Vodacom unit
 
You can try and change region for the Vodacom Unit in order to force the update to come through. Vodacom really sucks when it comes to the updates.

For the Dual SIM ones go to the update settings and toggle to receive updates early it should do the trick.
 
FM recording on the Redmi 9A is a bit of let down - not that anyone uses it - but still, this was a clean FM stereo broadcast that should have been recorded in stereo with at least a bitrate of 64kbps and a sampling rate of 32khz.

Anyone having issues with WhatsApp video call after upgrading to MIUI 13.0.4.0?

What happens is that when someone calls me, the from camera shows black screen.

When the phone is locked it shows that green camera on the top left.

When I click on it, it shows that it's the MIUI Biometric. Which I believe it's a process for unlocking the phone using the face detection.

I concluded that the front camera cannot be opened since another process it's already using it.

Redmi Note 9 Pro - updated to MIUI 12.5.4.0RJZMIXM Stable (500mb -+)

Updated a few minutes ago.
Change log says Security Patch to January 2022

Got the update yesterday , 13.0.3 (EU version ) as my phone was bought from UK.

Seems to be nearly the same. Can't see what's really new except notifications management, dark mode set at OS level finally seems to work. All apps look good now.

What the heck is sidebar? Should I care about it and how does one activate it?

It’s all the Chinese spy data they collect. Maybe also some of they caching some of their adverts.
 
Anybody got any news on the Note 11 Pro? Will we get it, when, price, etc.
I've been holding on for a while to see if it will be as value-for-money as the 10 Pro!

Weaker processor that can only handle camera footage shot at a maximum 1080 at 30fps.

Note 10 Pro superior.

The Chinese Note 11 Pro has much better hardware but with a mediatek processor, a custom rom is n/a.
