There is a Snapdragon in the 10 Pro so if you into custom roms then that might be a thing. but otherwise the cameras seem to be the biggest difference otherwise these are so marginally different that you could choose anyone and not notice the difference between the three/four.

Edit: Other members who have these might be able to weigh in more on their experiences with them. Im rolling with a Note 9s and its perfectly fine. I just want to put a custome rom on mine as the UI is annoying.

Yeah personally I wouldn't go for the Mediatek SOC phones - which is why I also opted for the Note 10 Pro.

If you're going to stick with standard software, then the Poco is fine.
 
Does anyone know a good place to import a Poco F4? I used Gearbest to import my Mi 9 Lite 3 years ago, but they've gone downhill. Prices there are also crazy. The phone is meant to retail at 330US and they're selling it for 500.

Otherwise I might try and grab a secondhand Poco F3 locally. I see quite a few people selling them on carb lately.

Looks like they have been waiting for update of the app since 2018. I'm also having the same issue when trying to connect my Xiaomi Red Mi Note 10 Pro 13.0.12

For what it's worth, I bought a sealed F3 off of Carb in July and love the phone.

The POCO F4 GT is R14k on Everyshop and 16k on Takealot, it had a massive jump recently in pricing.

Currently using the F4, and enjoying it. Coming from OnePlus and Pixel.
I got mine from Aliexpress using AGS, I will never ever attempt that again. It's a mission to ship phones out of Hong Kong, and the onus is on you the buyer, to get all documents and what what sorted out. AGS sucks!
Eventually had to use a third party to get it out of Hong Kong. So you rather pay the seller's high shipping fee to avoid frustration.

When the USB-IF announced plans for adding a Power Delivery profile for 240W charging we thought it was something for the future. The standard way of doing things may indeed be something for the future, but today brings us almost at that point with the new Redmi Note 12 Explorer.

This phone is based on the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ (which also debuts today), but ups the charging speed from 120W to 210W. The battery capacity does go down – from 5,000mAh to 4,300mAh – as Xiaomi had to build a battery to very exacting requirements.

With that in mind, a complete 0-100% charge with the Explorer takes only 9 minutes. By the 5 minute mark the phone is already at 66%. For comparison, the regular Redmi Note 12 Pro+ needs 19 minutes for a full charge (keep in mind that it is filling a battery that is 16% larger).

Redmi Note 12 Series unveiled with Chinese release dates

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 12 Series for release in China from October 30. The company didn't mention anything about an international launch of the products, but you should expect them.

Amazon is reliable. It will be delivered to your door and they handle all the paperwork. You might just need to give them your id for customs clearance.
Phone comes with US adapter and no warranty.

Xiaomi reveals concept phone with a mount for Leica M lenses based on the 12S Ultra

Xiaomi narrowed the gap between smartphones and premium digital cameras with the release of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and its 1” sensor. But even that has lenses with fixed focal lengths like a typical smartphone. Now the company offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes – there were actually two projects being developed concurrently, one of which became the 12S Ultra. The other is a hybrid between a smartphone and a mirrorless camera.

This concept device has a second 1” sensor, one that is not covered by its own lens (but it is covered by sapphire glass for protection). This allows the user to attach Leica M mount lenses, opening the door for (semi-)professional use. The wide variety of lenses is combined with an advanced camera app that supports focus peaking, zebra lines, a histogram and other tools that photographers have come to expect. And 10-bit RAW support, of course.

Mi store usually has a sale on the 11th of November yearly

I was thinking of getting a new phone. Currently has a Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Looking for a phone with a good camera as I plan to travel alot. Noticed the new Redmi Note 12 Pro camera is not that great. Do I look at Redmi or switch to Poco or another brand? Looking for something that doesn't break the bank but is good quality.
